Set Up a Portal Server to Use SAML (on Linux)

To configure SAML for Portal Sites, there are specific changes that have to be made for Portal Sites, PORTALADMIN, and the Pilot Site. Follow the steps in these sections to complete this task:

Once the Xinet server has been successfully configured for SAML you can switch Portal to use SAML. There are no changes for the Apache configuration on the Portal server but you do have to alter the actual Portal site(s) that are connecting to your Xinet server. An example base site would look like /var/www/html/<Portal Site>.
