Drag and Drop Download Assets from Xinet Portal to a Remote Client

Portal enables you to drag and drop assets to any remote server. This is a quick copy workflow which enables you to update a file on your local computer or on a server.

Note: This feature is available for Chrome and Safari browsers (not Firefox).

Tip:	In addition, you can drag a asset onto your email to send as an attachment.

To drag and drop assets to a server:

1.	Open your applications directory and launch Portal.

2.	On the navigator, click on a volume to view the sub-folders within it.

3.	Select a directory.

The contents is displayed in the Portal bowser view.

In the browser view, select an asset and drag it to a local machine or remote server. A compressed file is saved to that destination.
