Moving and Copying Assets to a New Location

When moving an asset or copying an asset to a new location you can use the breadcrumb trail to specify the new location to store the asset an you can create a new folder to store the asset in.

To move or copy an asset:

1.	In the browser view, click the wrench icon below an asset you want to move or copy.

2.	Click the Move or Copy icon.

3.	Use the breadcrumb trail to specify a new location to move or copy the file to.

4.	Optional - Click Create Folder to add a new folder to your file system.

5.	Click Move or Copy.

Creating a new folder on a mounted volume

Portal allows you to create your own directory structure within an assigned mounted volume. Once your new directory structure is in place you can upload new assets to it and copy or move assets to it.

To create a new folder to upload assets to:

1.	At the Home level, click Browse on a volume and navigate to the folder you want to add a new folder to.

2.	In the breadcrumb trail, click the arrow and select Create Folder.

3.	Type a name for the folder and click Submit.
