Searching for Assets
You can complete simple global search queries, save your search queries, and reuse saved searches. Pilot provides both the global Quick Search capabilities and an Advanced Search capabilities. You can use the Last Modified and Created On filters to narrow down your search results. In addition, you can use the filters in the navigator to filter your search results.
Note: Contact your Administrator if you do not see the Save Search button. This is displayed only if Solr Search is enabled.
Conducting a Global Quick Search
To complete a simple global search and save your search query:

Optional - By default, the File names only option is enabled for Quick Search. Use the Everywhere option to locate assets using the specified string in their file name, metadata, and comments.
The results are displayed in the browser view.

A popup menu is displayed.

Click, under Text Content and then click here to view the first match.
The asset is opened and the text is highlighted.

Click Save Search.

In the Search Name field, type the name of your search query.

Optional: In the Description field, type a description of your search query.

Click Submit.
To refine your search results:

On the left pane, click the Filters tab to view a list of found filters.

The assets found using the selected facets are displayed in the browser view.

Optional - Select Last Modified or Created On and select a date range to narrow down your search results.
 
Using saved search queries
To run a saved search queue:

The results are displayed in the browser view.
To delete a saved search query:
Saved search queries are shared with all users using the same Xinet server. You can delete your saved search queries. Search queries made by other users cannot be deleted.
Conducting an Advanced Search Query
Using our MySQL database, you can conduct more advanced search queries using logical operators.
To complete an advanced logical operand search:
