Removing Xinet Pilot

Removing Xinet Pilot is a manual process of deleting the following directory and files from the client machine on a Macintosh operating system:

To remove the Xinet Pilot software on a Macintosh platform:

1.	Remove the Xinet Pilot library support directory.

a. Click Go > Go to Folder.

b. Type /Library/Application Support and click Go.

c. Right click on the Xinet directory and select Move to Trash.

d. Type your Administrator’s user name and password.

2.	Remove the Pilot application.

a. Click Go > Go to Folder.

b. Type /Applications/Xinet Software.

c. Select Xinet Pilot.app, right click, and select Move to Trash.

d. Type you Administrator’s User name and password.

3.	Remove the Xinet preferences.

a. Click Go > Go to Folder.

b. Type ~/Library/Preferences/ and click Go.

c. Select com.xinet.webnative.browser.plist, right click, and select Move to Trash.

d. Empty your Trash.

To remove the Xinet Pilot software on a Windows Platform:

1.	From the Start menu, click Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.

2.	Select the Xinet Pilot software and click Uninstall.
