MySQL startup and shutdown is logged to the
SERVER.err file on a regular basis. (
SERVER is a variable that should be replaced by the name of your server.)
While Xinet errors are reported to venture.log, sometimes
MySQL itself also experiences problems. Errors from the program are written in the following location:
If MySQL is unusable for some reason, or if you see
an error has occurred in the
Database, Admin, Settings page of the
Xinet Administration view, you can check this file (as well as
venture.log) for errors.
