How do you start using the database?

Subsequent chapters contain details about setting up and running the Xinet database. The basic steps include:

1.	Turning on the database for Xinet volumes.

2.	Adding new Data Fields or modifying existing Fields to make the database more efficient for you and your customers.

3.	Creating Data Field Sets to more easily manage Data Fields.

4.	Setting up Templates that display subgroups of Fields so that all users won’t see every Data Field.

5.	Creating Permission Sets for Templates that define how users can access and alter the Fields in a Template.

6.	Assigning a Template/Permission Set pair to users and/or groups

7.	[optional] Establishing Actions and Trigger Sets.
