Configuration The tables below provide an explanation for the filter options, which are found in the nativeadmin UI under the Filters tab. • General Structure • Filter and Match Options • Combining Pre-requisites General Structure Option Value Description Name String Set the name for the filter. Description String Set a description for the filter. Enabled On/off Enable or Disable the configured filter Groups List of groups A list of user groups to apply this filter rule to. Only Primary Groups On/off If Only Primary Groups is turned on, the user's primary group must be listed in the groups list for the filter to apply. If Only Primary Groups is turned off, the user must be a member of one of the groups listed in the groups list for the filter to apply. Not these Groups On/off If Not these Groups is turned on, this negates the groups. The filter would therefore apply to every user who is not a member of one of the groups listed in the Groups list. Filter and Match Options Option Value Description Match File Name, Folder Name, Metadata Specifies the type of filter to be applied. Flag (File Name/Folder Name) Is Exactly, Contains, Starts with, Ends with Specifies the type of match to be made. Flag (Metadata) Is Exactly Shows only those assets with a Metadata value that matches exactly what is specified for that field. Contains Hides assets with a Metadata value that contains the string specified for that field. Starts with Hides assets with a Metadata value that starts with the string specified for that field. Ends with Hides assets with a Metadata value that ends with the string specified for that field Is NULL Hides assets with a Metadata value of NULL (empty field) for that field. Any asset that doesn't have this field set will be hidden. Up to and including Hides assets with a Metadata value that is up to or includes the date, specified here. On or after Hides assets with a Metadata value that is on or after the date specified. True Hides assets with a Boolean Metadata value set to true/on. False Hides assets with a Boolean Metadata value set to false/off. Prerequisites Option Value Description Parent Folder A folder name Allows you to specify the name of a parent folder. The pre-requisite filter would only apply if the name of the matched assets parent directory matches the Parent folder specified here. Path A full path to a folder, starting at "/"(root) Allows you to specify a full path. The pre-requisite filter would only apply if the matched assets path matches the Path value entered here. Path depth An integer number, such as for example 4. It specifies the number of path segments (folder levels). Allows you to specify the depth of the match. The pre-requisite filter would only apply if the matched assets depth matches the Depth value. Recursive on/off Specifies if the filter applies to a path recursively, or only for the path specified. Combining Pre-requisites Option Description AND Use AND if all pre-requisites must be met for the filter to be applied. OR Use OR if any of the pre-requisites must be met for the filter to be applied.
