Creating an alternative name for the nativeadmin user

Xinet allows Administrators to create their own nativeadmin user name and password to allow users access to all of the functionality available in the Administration view. The default nativeadmin user name is nativeadmin and the password is blank and should be changed immediately after installation.

Limitation: Only ONE alternative nativeadmin user name can be created and listed in the /var/adm/webnative/ alt.nativeadmin.user file.

To create a new nativeadmin user name and password:

1.	Create a new user and set their password. For example, create a user called Nathan. For more details on how to set up new users, see Adding new users.

2.	On your Xinet server, open /var/adm/webnative/ and create a file named alt.nativeadmin.user.

3.	In the alt.nativeadmin.user file, add the user name you created in Step 1 and save your updates. In this example, add Nathan to this file.
