annotations.css annotations.js annotations.tmpl.html	Control the functionality of Annotations panel. Still supported, but new features will not be added to these templates.
archivecntl.tmpl.html	Allows users who cannot change their passwords to select an archive format for downloads. For use in custom sites that want this functionality
base_portal.css	A style sheet that controls elements common to all Portal sites, such as default fonts used for various headings, paragraphs, forms, fields, and roll-over text. Among other things, it controls file- and directory-specific displays, field labels and values, Search fields, display of data tables and menu items, the “roundness” of browser borders, the appearance of buttons and error messages, etc. Settings within the site’s portal.css file will override those in the base_portal.css when in conflict.

Each of the mview_ files contains the HTML code necessary to build those panels, with the name of the files indicating the panel to which it pertains.
