The Print Daemon log

You will find the log from the Common Unix Printing System, CUPS, on OS X and Linux servers.  For reference, the third-tier of tabs also displays the file-system location of the log file on each server.

The contents and format of the log information are operating system and version dependent, so are not discussed here. Scanning this log may help when debugging certain printing problems.

The Completed Job Logs button provides a link to the Print/Hot Folder, Queue Status, Completed Job Logs page, explained in Completed Jobs Logs.  The Download Log File button, just under the tabs at the far right, will be available if the log file is not empty, and may be useful when you’re working with Xinet Technical Support.
