Xinet License Summary

The Xinet components that comprise the Xinet, and any additional Xinet subadministrator licenses all share a single license string. When you install Xinet products, the license string you receive from Xinet will activate all software packages. If you are upgrading any products, you will have to call Xinet to receive a new license string which will enable the software packages.

Clicking on the License tab in the top row of the GUI presents a summary of your current Xinet license (if you already have one). The following figure shows an example of licensed software. Note that it shows the maximum number of concurrent AFP users.

If your server isn’t currently licensed for its upgrade or has never been licensed before, use the Send License Request and Install new License tabs to activate a new license.
